Ranch-Specific Safety Information

Cancellation Policy

Recommended Beyond the Gate Policy

Because the Martin Refuge website does not currently publish a cancellation or refund policy, the following should be treated as a proposed policy requiring ranch approval:

• Cancellations made 14 or more days before arrival may receive a refund minus the applicable Beyond the Gate service fee.

• Cancellations made 7–13 days before arrival may be eligible for a one-time rescheduling credit.

• Cancellations made fewer than 7 days before arrival are nonrefundable unless the ranch approves an exception.

• No-shows and late arrivals that prevent the session from proceeding are nonrefundable.

• Light rain, wind, clouds, heat, or limited wildlife activity do not automatically qualify for a refund.

• If the ranch cancels because of unsafe weather, fire danger, flooding, road conditions, or another property-related concern, guests may receive a rescheduled date or refund according to the booking terms.

• Wildlife sightings are never guaranteed, and the absence of a particular species is not grounds for a refund.

• Any hotel, transportation, airfare, rental-car, or other travel expenses remain the guest’s responsibility. Travel insurance is recommended.
